Purelux Bull 9 is a round auxiliary light that stands out in its own class, combining top-notch performance and one of the best combined light patterns on the market. As if that weren't enough, the auxiliary light is also equipped with an orange warning light approved for road traffic in accordance with the R65 standard. The new generation of auxiliary lights is specially designed for heavy equipment, work machinery, vans, and practically any vehicle that operates both on roads and construction sites. Thanks to its exceptional light pattern, Bull 9 is also suitable for vehicles that only travel on the road. To maximize the potential of the auxiliary light, Purelux Bull 9 is equipped with two different power modes: one is E-marked and approved for road traffic, and the other is an unrestricted PowerBoost® mode that unleashes all the power, providing a measured luminous flux of up to 14,233 lumens with a range of 480 meters (@ 1 lux)! Bull 9 is not just a stylish auxiliary light; all its features have been optimized with two key considerations in mind: the auxiliary light must have a high-quality light pattern to ensure visibility both far ahead and broadly to the road edges, as well as exceptional performance for off-road and construction conditions.
When the vehicle transitions from the highway to a construction site, parks on the side of the road, engages in special transport, or works in traffic management, the auxiliary light can smoothly transform into a road-legal warning light. The eye-catching orange warning light doesn't go unnoticed, and it ensures the safety of both the vehicle, the driver, and others in motion, whether it's dark or light outside. Thanks to the built-in warning light, there's no need for additional auxiliary lights – everything is integrated into one! The warning light can be installed, for example, behind a separate power switch, allowing it to be turned on and off as needed. The modern, two-colored X-shaped parking light in the center of the lens, along with the dark optics, enhances the appearance of the auxiliary light, making Bull a sleek choice for all vehicles.
Purelux PowerBoost® - Most auxiliary lights sold today come with what is known as an E-marking. This signifies that the auxiliary lights must be power-limited to meet the traffic approval requirements in certain European countries. These regulations may not apply to every country; some countries might have special exceptions. To comply with these regulations, manufacturers produce auxiliary lights with E-markings, enabling them to be sold throughout the entire European market. Consequently, the output is limited in nearly all additional lights. However, by activating the PowerBoost® mode, you can bypass the E-marking and unleash the full potential of the auxiliary lights when the approval is not needed, in for example offroad or rally uses.
Bull 9 features a long-reaching, wide, and intense light pattern that directs light far ahead across the entire width of the road while evenly illuminating the roadside exceptionally. In the vertical direction, the beam is softly delimited, ensuring that the light is directed precisely where it is needed. Despite the vertical limitation, the light pattern provides sufficient height to illuminate uneven terrain and avoid sharp shadows. Like many other auxiliary lights, Bull's light pattern is optimized to avoid creating a disturbing and blinding light pattern in front of the driver or irritating diffuse light reflections at the edges. This round auxiliary light is versatile and suitable for installation both above the license plate and on the roof.
The color temperature of 5000K has been optimized for the challenging Nordic conditions, making it comfortable for the eyes even in scenarios like driving in the dark or snowy landscapes. The balanced color temperature makes it easier to observe the terrain's shapes and contours while not straining the eyes during long drives. Additionally, a color temperature of 5000 Kelvin is better suited than cooler color temperatures for adverse weather conditions such as fog and rain. The 5000K color temperature is also compatible with newer vehicles equipped with LED or Xenon lights.
Bull 9's dark profile and optics, along with the elegant orange or white parking light, make this round auxiliary light a complete and modern addition to any vehicle. In addition to its stylish appearance, Bull is also highly durable, as evidenced by features like a virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lens, a body made of powder-coated and UV-protected aluminum, and its IP68 protection class, making Bull 9 excellent at withstanding year-round conditions and corrosion, with the UV protection preventing the fixture from fading. The frameless design of the lens prevents the accumulation of snow, ice, or dirt.
The auxiliary light comes with a mounting bracket, and installation is facilitated by the 2-pin DT connector that is already in place on the auxiliary light's power cord, as well as the pre-made positive cables from the power cord to the parking lights and the E-marked power mode. The wide operating voltage range (9-36 V) allows for installation in both 12V and 24V systems. Bull 9 is protected against radio interference in accordance with the ECE R10 standard. Connection
If the courtesy light is only connected via the DT-2 connector, the courtesy light illuminates in PowerBoost® mode. Standard mode can be activated by connecting the black cable to ground and the blue cable to power.
