Complete conversion kit for MAN TGE / VW Crafter vehicles with LED headlights from year 2020+, for replacing cold white LED DRLs with yellow-orange light. 10 bright, high-power LEDs provide brightness equivalent to the original.
Please note that this set only replaces the top and bottom perimeter lines, the line in the middle cannot be changed and will remain white. Thermal paste is included in the kit.
Installation
The emitters are relatively easy to install, but to get to the headlights it is necessary to dismantle a large part of the front.
The original emitters are mounted on heat sinks located at the back of the headlights. Remove the headlights and then the radiators.
The original emitters are connected by a connector that is detachable.
Remove the emitters from the heat sink and clean them of thermal paste.
New thermal paste should be applied to the emitters and special care should be taken in the area behind the LEDs. The emitters are placed on the heat sink.
The heatsinks are mounted onto the headlight and the headlight must then be tested before refitting.
