Waterproof light base for Scania' new 2023+ SUPER sign (57cm). Frosted acrylic and bright LED light gives you a nice neon-look. The LED strip in the sign is potted, making the sign completely waterproof / IP65.
The sign can be mounted outside on the front of the cabin as original, or anywhere else including indoor. It is available with dual color, and is dimmable with regular LED dimmer.
The original SUPER sign is not included, as you typically just resuse the original. It is also available seperatly, see under variants. Note that you will have to shorten the tabs on the backside of the SUPER sign, as it otherwise cannot fit the light base. The sign has to be glued on to the light base. We recommend you do this last.
It is easy to mount using bolts in the 3 x M5 threaded inserts in the plastic.
Connecting:
Both colors in the sign have one common plus wire, and the two colors are turned on by connecting the respective wire to minus. The signs have the same wire-colors as the color they emit, eg. yellow wire and white wire. The remaining wire is plus.
This sign is made in acrylic, that is more sensitive than our SCANIA signs, that are made of impact resistant polycarbonate. Take care when mounting them. The base may not be bent.
